PIMSER Moved to EKU on July 1, 2017
On July 1, 2017, the Partnership Institute for Math and Science Education Reform joined Eastern Kentucky University. We are excited for this new opportunity to work with EKU's faculty preparing pre-service teachers and strengthening our relationships with teachers in Appalachia. In short, PIMSER is simply transitioning to a new university home - the services you have come to know and expect will not change. A more broad-scale announcement will be sent out at the beginning of the academic year with more details, but for now here's a quick breakdown of the transition.
What did not change:
- Location. PIMSER will remain in the UK/Lexmark Center on Russell Cave Rd. in Lexington tentatively through the end of October 2017 while space is determined on EKU's campus.
- Your meeting location. If you have a meeting or training scheduled through PIMSER, the location of that meeting will stay the same (unless otherwise noted through separate communication).
- Our services and programs. Current and future planned projects through PIMSER will still take place. All services that we currently offer will remain intact.
What did change:
- Our vendor information. Specific vendor information for payments to PIMSER for services rendered will be sent to affected parties as soon as accounts are established.
If you have any questions about this transition, please contact Jessica Eaton at 859-257-3706 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
