Three PIMSER RTPs Selected for BSCS Grant Program
Three PIMSER Science Regional Teacher Partners (Master Teachers) were selected by BSCS Science Learning to participate in the STeLLA Scale‐Up Sustainability and Study (SSUP), a five-year, $8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education's innovation and research program to expand the training to rural elementary teachers. The Science Teachers Learning Through Lesson Analysis program, or "STeLLA," uses a "lesson study" model of professional learning.
Stephanie Harmon, Diane Johnson, and Patti Works will participate in the SSUP Leadership Development Cadre where they will receive over 130 hours of professional leadership learning. After they are trained, the RTPs will be in a position to lead STeLLA professional learning through PIMSER at EKU.
